I am a very
active 40-year-old male, involved in running and Aikido. Last year, while training for the Chicago Marathon, I experienced
severe pain within my upper neck and shoulders. I could barely hold my head up without pain. My wife, who had
been a client of VanNess Chiropractic in the past, recommended that I try it. Dr. VanNess began an intensive treatment
program which included x-rays, muscle stimulation therapy and upper and lower spinal adjustments two days per week. Within

My son Kurt was 3 yrs old when he started getting severe
headaches. The headaches occurred once a month. We never knew when he was
going to get one so we needed to carry ibuprofen with us at all times. We brought Kurt to see Dr. Van Ness and after the consultation
and evaluation realized that the torticollis he had as an infant was causing the current headaches. Since receiving
treatment with Dr. Van Ness, Kurt has only had one headache and this one occurred in the first month we began treatment.
Kurt has now been headache free for about 5 months. The atmosphere in the office is very warm and friendly and Kurt

The past 3 years
I have taken pain medication and anti-inflammatory
medications for
my back pain. I was using anti-inflammatory patches, topical
creams, ice packs
and heating pads almost daily. All this did was
mask the problem. The continuous pain in my back interfered with my level

doing daily things such as getting ready for work and
house work, I was
miserable, must less enjoying the activities I did
